Neighbor News!

Ann Bargeron of N. Ivy went on a business trip to Texas in November and returned with an extraordinary memento.  She and her husband, Cliff, were expecting a new baby in December, but little Carson decided to surprise his mom and come early.  The whole family spent some extra time in Texas and are now safely home.

The annual neighborhood Halloween party was the best one yet.  Many little "spooks" and their parents and friends gathered on Buff Drive to enjoy refreshments before heading off to trick-or-treat.  Everyone is grateful to Kim and Chris Killebrew for organizing this special event which gets bigger every year.  One of the highlights of the evening was a hayride wagon ride driven by Tommy Meade.  Next Halloween be sure to go by Wieuca Terrace where Jim and Lisa Braun and Cyrille and Brenda Lesellier have spectacular decorations.

Gail and Marc Blumberg and Tom Sabulis and I celebrated Thanksgiving by running the Atlanta Half Marathon.  Marc and Tom then ran the Rocket City Marathon in Huntsville, Alabama in early December.

Many of the area children and their parents braved the snow and cold weather to sing Christmas carols in the neighborhood.  Once again the group gathered at the Killabrews' house for a warm snack, then ended the evening with hot chocolate at the Blumbergs' home on North Ivy. 

The North Buckhead Home and Garden Club Christmas party was held at Martha and Bob Dean's house on Old Ivy.  The members and their guests enjoyed great food and the opportunity to visit with each other during the holidays.  The Garden Club has many interesting topics on its agenda for the New Year.  Carol Cumbie of N.
