Report Summary: I, Officer.J. Collins, Was On A Call In The Area Of #### Peachtree Rd, When SPO Carozza (####x) Who Was Working A City Approved Extra Job At #### Peachtree Rd, Came Over Radio Advising She Was Going To Respond To A Possible Police Impersonator. Moments Later, SPO Carozza Advised Via Dispatch That The Suspect, A Dark Skinned Black Male Wearing Black Cargo Pants, A White T-shirt And A Black Jacket Had Taken Off Running Towards The Westin Hotel At #### Peachtree Rd And He Was Armed With A Handgun. I Responded To The Area Along With Several Other Units And Phoenix But Was Unable To Locate The Suspect At The Time. After Our Search Of The Surrounding Area Came Up Inconclusive, I Met With an Employee of California Pizza Kitchen. The Employee Advised That At Approximately #:## PM Today, He Was Entering #### Peachtree Rd To Go To Work At The California Pizza Kitchen. While Walking Towards The Escalator He Noticed The Suspect In What Appeared To Be A Sheriff's Uniform. The Suspect Approached Him And Demanded A Georgia Identification Card From Him. The Employee Told The Suspect That He Did Not Have A GA Id. The Male Told Him That He Was With The Fulton County Sheriff's Office And That The Employee Needed To Pay Him $500 In Cash For An Outstanding Warrant Or He Would Be Deported. Employee Advised That He Was Nervous About The Situation And He And The Suspect Went Into The California Pizza Kitchen And Spoke With His Supervisors. Employee Advised That The Suspect, Who Identified Himself At That Time As Fulton County Deputy Sheriff Charles Timmons (badge # #####) And That He Needed $500 In Cash Or The Employee Would Be Detained And Eventually Deported. The Employee Accompanied By C Timmons Went To The ATM And Withdrew The $500 In Cash. The Employee Advised That He And C Timmons Returned To His Manager's Office Where C Timmons Again Demanded The Money. He Took The Money Out Of His Pocket And C Timmons Snatched The Cash From His Hand And He Then Left The Location. The Employee Requested To Go Home Early Because He Was Very Nervous. When He Was Waiting At The Marta Station At ### E Paces Ferry Rd, He Saw C Timmons Again Who Apologized To Him Stating That He Had A Job To Do And He Had Two Kids At Home And A Girlfriend. C Timmons Then Walked Away From Him And Returned A Few Minutes Later Holding Onto Another Man by his Shirt. Employee Advised That C Timmons Requested That He Translate For Other Man Because He Could Not Speak English. Note: This incident continues on and on and on. If anyone wants to read the unedited version, I will send it. However, the bottom line is that a search of the area was conducted and the suspect (C. Timmons) was not located. At approximately #:## PM, Marta police advised that they had a suspect in custody. Unit #### was responding to the location and the investigation continues. LM
